Ciel Terre Japan KK started to sell electricity generated by three floating solar power plants in Hyogo and Mie prefectures, Japan.

Ciel Terre Japan (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is a Japanese subsidiary of Ciel & Terre Group, which is a France-based major manufacturer of floating mounting systems for solar power plants.

The largest of the three is located in Sasakura-cho, Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture. Its solar panel output and PV inverter capacity are 1.258MW and 1.080MW, respectively.

The plant started to sell electricity in December 2018. It is expected to generate 1,180,305kWh of electricity per year. The FIT tariff set for the plant is ¥21/kWh.
