Ichigo Begins Operation of 2.8MW Solar Plant in Gifu
Ichigo Inc built a solar power plant with an output of about 2.89MW in Sakahogi-cho, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, and started power generation May 17, 2019.
On about 39,775m2 of former quarry, 9,200 solar panels were installed. The plant is expected to generate about 3,545,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 980 households, per year.
The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of JA Solar Holdings Co Ltd and Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd, respectively.
