Invenergy Fires Up 10MW Solar Plant in Nagano

A ceremony to celebrate the start of operation of a solar power plant with an output of about 10.3MW took place in Koumi-machi, Minamisaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, June 12, 2019.

Invenergy Japan GK (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and SB Energy Corp (Minato-ku, Tokyo) jointly built the plant, "Koumi Kogen Solar Power Plant." Invenergy Japan is a Japanese subsidiary of Invenergy LLC (the US-based major renewable energy-based power producer), and SB Energy is a company affiliated with the Softbank group.

The power producer of the plant is Koumi Kogen Solar Energy GK (SPC: special purpose company). The investment ratios of Invenergy Japan and SB Energy are 60% and 40%, respectively.
