Two mega (large-scale) solar power plants for which JGC Corp and JGC Vietnam Co Ltd (a Vietnamese subsidiary of JGC) received orders for EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services were completed in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam.

The opening ceremony of the plant took place June 19, 2019. The total output of the plants is expected to be about 120MW, which is equivalent to the power consumption of about 83,000 households in Vietnam.

The two projects are "TTC1 Project" with an output of about 70MW and "TTC2 Project" with an output of about 50MW. The projects are led by Thanh Thanh Cong Group (TTC Group, a Vietnam-based conglomerate) and Gulf Energy Development PCL (a Thailand-based power producer).
