Shizen Energy Inc (Fukuoka City) announced June 27, 2019, that it has made an agreement with France-based Ideol to jointly consider a floating offshore wind farm project in Japan.

Ideol is a company that develops floating foundations for offshore wind power generation facilities. The company engaged in floating offshore wind farm projects in two areas having different weather and hydrographic conditions including the Kyushu region of Japan.

The "Damping Pool," for which Ideol owns patents, enables to optimally use wind power regardless of (1) the size and type of wind turbine, (2) water depth, (3) seabed conditions, etc.
