Yokohama Rubber Sets Up 4MW PV System on Roof of Factory in Philippines

The Yokohama Rubber Co Ltd announced July 9, 2019, that it has installed a solar power generation (PV) system on the roof of Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc's (YTPI) manufacturing plant in Pampanga Province, the Philippines, and started operation July 4, 2019.

YTPI is Yokohama Rubber's subsidiary that is based in the Philippines and manufactures and sells tires.

The output of the PV system is about 4MW, and it is expected to generate about 5,363MWh of electricity per year. All the electricity generated is used in the manufacturing plant.
