Pacifico Energy Plans to Install Offshore Wind Farm in Shizuoka

Pacifico Energy KK (Minato-ku, Tokyo) is planning to build an offshore wind power plant near and off the coasts of Minamiizu-cho, Shimoda City, Kawazu-cho, Higashiizu-cho and Ito City in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

For "Pacifico Energy Minamiizu Offshore Wind Power Generation Project (tentative name)," up to 100 units of a 5-12MW wind power generation facility will be set up, and the maximum output is expected to reach up to 500MW.

Pacifico Energy already started an environmental impact assessment and published an "environmental impact statement in the planning phase" Aug 9, 2019.
