Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc (TEPCO) is planning to build a large-scale offshore wind power plant off the coast of Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

TEPCO already started an environmental impact assessment and published an "environmental impact statement in the planning phase" Aug 29, 2019.

TEPCO plans to build an offshore wind power plant anchored to the seabed (output: up to 370MW). The company will install up to 72 5.2MW-class, 62 6MW-class, 47 8MW-class, 39 9.5MW-class or 31 12MW-class wind turbines.
