SymEnergy Inc (Kobe City) announced Sept 1, 2019, that it has been selected as a business operator for "Kyoto University (Nagahama Housing Complex) Renewable Energy Facilities Installation/Operation Project."
The aim of the project is to set up solar power generation facilities in a former experimental farm field of Kyoto University. On the former farm field that the university owns in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, a 1MW solar power plant will be built. Electricity generated will be sold to The Kansai Electric Power Co Inc (KEPCO).
