Solar Frontier KK (Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced Oct 3, 2019, that it has installed a solar power generation (PV) system in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.

Solar Frontier set up the system on the roof of Kizakura Co Ltd's Misu Factory in cooperation with Daimaru Enawin Co Ltd (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture). All the electricity generated with the system is consumed in the factory.

The system was introduced by using the "third party ownership model." As a result, Kizakura can use solar electricity without bearing an initial investment cost or paying a leasing fee. The output of the PV system is 133.2kW.
