Shizen Energy Inc (Fukuoka City) and Community Energy Social Enterprise Ltd (CESEL, a Nigeria-based renewable energy-based power producer) formed a partnership to develop a project in the Nigerian renewable energy market.

The two companies formed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Sept 13, 2019. With the MoU, they will discuss the comprehensive use of renewable energy-based power sources in Nigeria and develop a project with an investment ratio of 50:50.

They have already decided to set up 25 micro-grids, planning to strengthen the system for bidding for larger-scale projects as necessary.
