JRE Completes 3.2MW Solar Plant in Ibaraki

Japan Renewable Energy Corp (JRE, Minato-ku, Tokyo) built a 3.163MW solar power plant in Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, and had a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the plant Nov 27, 2019.

Also, the mega (large-scale) solar power plant, "JRE Hasaki Kita Solar Power Plant," 10,040 solar panels were set up. The plant is expected to generate about 3,500,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 960 households, per year, and reduce the amount of CO2 emissions by about 1,640t.
