SB Energy, JA Mitsui Leasing Complete 22MW Solar Plant in Miyazaki

SB Energy Corp (Minato-ku, Tokyo) and JA Mitsui Leasing Ltd (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) announced Dec 23, 2019, that they have built a solar power plant with an output of about 22.4MW in Kunitomi-cho (town), Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.

SB Energy is a company that is affiliated with the Softbank group and runs renewable energy-related businesses, etc.

For the plant, "Softbank Miyazaki Kunitomi Solar Park," 81,552 solar panels were set up on about 46.6ha of land that was formerly a privately-owned mountain forest. The plant is expected to generate about 26,677,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 7,410 households, per year. The FIT tariff set for the plant is ¥36/kWh.
