Shizen Energy to Build 1.9MW Biomass Power Plant in Kagoshima

Shizen Energy Inc (Fukuoka City) announced Jan 17, 2020, that it will build its first biomass power plant in Satsuma-cho, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

The company will start construction of the plant in May 2020, planning to complete it in the summer of 2021.

For the plant, "Satsuma-cho Biomass Power Plant," Takuma Co Ltd's traveling stoker boiler was employed. The output of the plant will be 1.99MW, and the annual amount of electricity generated at the plant will be equivalent to the power consumption of 4,500 households.
