The Resol group built a solar power plant with an output of about 37MW on the site of a former golf course in Ishikawa-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, and started to sell electricity Jan 20, 2020.

For the mega (large-scale) solar power plant, "Fukushima Ishikawa Solar Power Plant," 112,104 solar panels were set up on about 72ha of land. The plant is expected to generate about 39,560,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 10,000 households, per year.

All the electricity generated at the plant is sold to Tohoku-Electric Power Co Inc.
