Eurus Starts Up 20.4MW Wind Farm in Miyagi

Eurus Energy Holdings Corp (Minato-ku, Tokyo) built a wind farm with a total output of 20.4MW in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, and had a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the wind farm Jan 24, 2020.

Eurus Energy set up six wind turbines (output: 3.4MW each) on a ridge. The wind turbine is manufactured by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA. The height of its tower is 79.8m, and the diameter of its rotor is 101m.

The wind farm started operation in December 2019. The amount of electricity generated at the farm is equivalent to the power consumption of about 10,000 households.
