Tokyu Community's Building Obtains 'Nearly ZEB' Certification

Tokyu Community Corp (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) announced Feb 8, 2019, that it has obtained the "Nearly ZEB" certification of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Building Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS) for a building that it it is constructing in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

The building, "Tokyu Community Technical Training Center (tentative name)," is scheduled to start operations in May 2019. It is the first office building in Tokyo that has obtained Nearly ZEB. For the building, Tokyu Community introduced a solar power generation (PV) system and advanced energy-saving technologies.
