Only Style (Shinjyuku-ku, Tokyo), which develops and leases in-vehicle power sources, announced Feb 27, 2019, that it has started to lease a "storage battery-based power supply vehicle" equipped with large-capacity lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries.

The batteries can be charged by using a solar panel installed on the roof of the vehicle. With the Li-ion batteries, the vehicle can supply electricity without causing noise or emitting exhaust gas. Also, it eliminate the need for special operations at the time of supplying electricity, unlike power supply vehicles equipped with a generator.

The vehicle comes with six 2,500Wh/200AH Li-ion batteries and can store 15kWh of electricity (usable amount: about 12kWh).
