Renewable Japan Starts Up 3.1MW of Solar Plants in Gunma

Renewable Japan Co Ltd (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which runs a renewable energy-based power generation business, started operation of two mega (large-scale) solar power plants in Annaka City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

The total solar panel output and PV inverter output of the two plants, "Matsuida Inter A·C Solar Power Plants," are about 3.1MW and 2.5MW, respectively.

The total project cost is about ¥1 billion. The plants are expected to generate about 3,803,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 1,000 households, per year. The FIT tariff set for the plants is ¥36/kWh (excluding tax).
