  • CBRE GI invests in four logistics properties, exceeding 180,000 m2 GFA 03.30.2020

    CBRE Global Investors (CBRE GI), a major asset management company of the U.S., is expanding its investment in logistics facility development projects in Japan. It was revealed that the company invested in an additional four properties with an aggregate gross floor area of over 180,000 m2 in such prefectures as Chiba and Hiroshima. >>

    Nagoya City selected a group of four companies led by Mitsubishi Estate as the developer of the area including and surrounding Sakae Square (Sakae Hiroba; Block 25 in Nishiki 3-chome) at the center of the Sakae district. A mixed-use building that accommodates a hotel, offices, theaters and retail stores will be developed in the project. >>

    Yokohama City's Asakawa Biru will develop a budget hotel in Minami-Saiwai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama City. Plans call for the hotel to offer approximately 100 guestrooms on nine floors above ground. Hotel chain operator Toyoko Inn will lease the hotel after completion. >>

    Trading firm Sumitomo Corporation will construct an office and retail building in Nihombashi-Horidomecho, Chuo-ku. The building is planned to be in the company's PREX mid-sized office building series. The structure will have ten floors above ground with 5,515 m2 of gross floor area. >>
